2013 President’s Challenge: Advance the Reintegration of Public Health and Healthcare
The President's Challenge, To Advance the Reintegration of Public Health and Healthcare, issued by ASTHO President José Montero, MD, MPH, MS (NH) emphasizes the need to take a systems approach to health care transformation to achieve lasting improvements in population health. ASTHO’s Public Health and Healthcare Integration Project will support state health officials (SHOs) and their staff in identifying and sharing successful models for integration and healthcare transformation occurring within their states.
