State Legislative Summaries

Following the adjournment of state legislatures each year, ASTHO's State Health Policy team develops a report summarizing the activity on some of the key public health issues addressed that year. Beginning in 2015, the State Health Policy team produced interim legislative reports outlining the progress of public health bills through the state legislatures.

State Legislative Prospectus

To provide an overview of the issues affecting state health agencies and public health, ASTHO has reviewed available prefiled bills and surveyed the state health agency legislative liaisons regarding priorities and issues they expect their legislatures to address in the coming year.
